Mrs. Corrine E. Greer, 81, of 411 E. Meyer Ave., died at 7:52 p.m. yesterday at her home following an illness.

She was born in New Castle on July 31, 1892, to the late William and Viola Shook Evans.

Mrs. Greer was a member of Northminster United Presbyterian Church.

She was married to Frank Greer who preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son William of McKeesport, PA.; three daughters, Mrs. Edward (Fern) Bigley of New Castle, Mrs. Anthony (Thelma) Scarazzo with whom she made her home and Mrs. Ruth Haas of Dravosburg, Pa.; 18 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bert Evans and Roy Evans and a sister Mrs. May Hammond.

Friends will be received at the Edward A. DeCarbo and Son Funeral Home, S. Mill and E. Lutton Streets from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. The service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. John W. Sloat of the church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
