On the 6th of August, 1862, at his fathers resident in Guernsey county, Ohio, Mr. David W. Glenn, formerly of New Castle, in the 24 year of his age. The deceased was a young man of fine talents, and had almost completed a collegiate course at Westminster College, when he came to New Castle, and commenced the study of medicine with Dr. Barker; but consumption seized his person and has laid him low in death. He was a member o the First U.P. Church, New Wilmington, and such a member as reflects honor to the church. None knew him but to praise.
