Leo P. GARDNER of 828 Lathrop Street, died suddenly at his home at 4:30 this morning. He was born October 17, 1890 in New Castle, son of William and Elizabeth Welch Gardner. He would have been 50 years of age if he had lived until next Thursday. For 28 years Mr. Gardner was married to Elizabeth Ackerman Gardner, and had worked for the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad for 26 years. Surviving are his wife, his mother in New Castle; son Jack of Rochester, NY; one granddaughter, Barbara Ann; brothers, Francis, Hilary, Clement and Thomas, all of this city; and one sister, Mrs. Francis Fehrenbach, New Castle. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
