Stella Brinkley Fehrenbach
Died Apr 1903, age 21

Mrs. Albert Fehrenbach

Mrs. Albert Fehrenbach (Stella Brinkley Fehrenbach), a well-known resident of the sixth ward, died at her home, 28 Bluff street, at 11:30 o'clock Monday evening, death being due to hemorrhages. On Sunday Mrs. Fehrenbach gave birth to twin boys. The two babes thus deprived at the beginning of their lives of a mother's care and tenderness, are apparently robust little fellows and are getting along all right. Mrs. Fehrenbach was just 21 years of age and was married about a year ago. She was the daughter of James Bigley (Brinkley) of Clarion county. She came to New Castle after her marriage and during the period of her residence in this city she made many friends and won the esteem of all who knew her.

Shortly after coming to New Castle, she identified herself with St. Joseph's church. Her beautiful christian character and sweet, amiable disposition endeared her to all who came in contact with her and deep regret is felt by her acquaintances that she was so soon called away from her husband and little babes.

Besides her husband and two sons, she leaves to mourn her death her parents, three brothers; John, Allishius and George Bigley (Brinkley) of Clarion and two sisters, Mrs. Andy Fehrenbach of this city and Miss Maggie Bigley (Brinkley) of Clarion. Funeral announcement later by McGonigle.

A VERY SAD CASE OF BEREAVEMENT

James A. Brinkley of this place, received a telegram one day last week announcing that his daughter, Stella M., wife of Albert Fehrenbach, had died at her residence at 28 Bluff street, New Castle, Pa. She was about 20 years of age. Last fall two of her brothers, both young men, died with in a month of each other at the residence of her parents in this place. Mr. Brinkley has lost three children within the past year, and he and his family have the sympathy of the community in their bereavements. He has now five children living. Mrs. Fehrenbach left surviving her, besides her husband, twin babes, and Mrs. Brinkley, their grandmother, intends rearing them in her home in this place.
