Mrs. Mary E. Fehrenbach, 60, wife of Francis J. Fehrenbach of R.D.9 Ellwood City road, was dead on arrival at the New Castle hospital on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.. Mrs. Fehrenbach was stricken very suddenly following a heart attack at her home.
She was born in this city on May 27, 1894 to the late William and Bridget Welsh Gardner and spent her lifetime here. On August 30, she and Mr. Fehrenbach would have celebrated thirty-nine years of marriage. She was a member of St. Joseph's church.
She leaves her husband, Francis; the following children; H. Grant Fehrenbach, Mrs. LaVerne Shoaf and Thomas L. Fehrenbach, all of this city; one niece which Mrs. Fehrenbach reared, Mary Elizabeth Gardner; three brothers; Hilary Gardner, Clement Gardner and Thomas Gardner and six grandchildren.
Friday, March 18, 10 a.m. high mass of requiem will be celebrated in St. Joseph's church with Rev. Cornelia Becker officiating, with interment following in St. Joseph's cemetery.
