A lifelong resident of New Castle, Albert Fehrenbach, aged 61, of 711 East Reynolds street, died suddenly with a heart attack Friday afternoon at 1:45 o'clock at the United Engineering plant.
Mr. Fehrenbach, who was well known and liked in the city, was born here on March 5, 1881, a son of Andrew and Jacbina (Jacobina) Vialkowich (?) Fehrenbach. A member of a family of seven brothers and seven sisters, he was the last survivor of the seven brothers. Mr. Fehrenbach was a member of St. Mary's church, the Holy Name society and a charter member to the Eintracht Singing society. He was also a member of St. Mary's choir until he became ill about seven years ago. He had formerly been employed at the Shenango mill of the Carnegie-Illinois Steel Corp.
Survivors are his wife, Lucy Cecelia Devlin Fehrenbach, whom he married on May 12, 1908; three sisters, Sr. Mary Gabriel of the Divine Providence Order, Cambridge Springs, Pa.; Mrs. Adam Rosche and Mrs. Louis Snyder both of Pittsburgh, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Requiem solemn high mass will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Mary's church, and interment will follow in St. Mary's cemetery.
