Joseph Evans, a former resident of Altoona where he was employed for many years at the Colonial hotel, died Monday in New York City hospital. Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Branch of Welch, W.Va.; a grandchild; one brother and a sister, George E. Evans of Altoona and Mrs. Elmer Hallock of New Castle. Interment will be at Wilkes-Barre.
