On Sunday the 27th ult. of brain fever after six days illness, Mr. Robert Dunnan, of North Beaver township, in the 28th year of his age.

The subject of this notice was a membr of the Mount Jackson Gurards in the first Pennsylvania Artillery - had passed through all the trials and hair breadth escapes in the six days engagement before Richmond. He was an excellent young man - brave and patriotic. At the time when his country was first considered in danger he volunteered in its defence and has now rendered up his life on the altar for his country. We can truly sympathise with his many relatives and friends.
