Isaac Patterson Davis, a veteran of the Civil War, died at his home in the north part of Greenville, [Illinois] Monday, May 10, 1926, aged 81 years.

Mr. Davis was born March 14, 1845 at New Castle, Pennsylvania. He came to Bond county in 1881 and to Greenville in 1919. On May16, 1886 he married Louisa A. Highlands and she died May 27, 1910 leaving six children: Elmer D. Davis of Muncie, Indiana, Henry T., of Denver, Charles of Cincinnati, Mrs. M./E. Largent of Greenville, Mrs. C.E. Widger of Mulberry Grove and Mrs. T.E. Riley of Alton. Interment was at Montrose Cemetary in Greenville.
