Alexander Cioca (Choco), Sr., 78, of 2103 Delaware Ave. died Nov. 19, 1968, in New Castle. Born in Transylvania, Rumania on Dec. 19, 1890, to the late Alexander and Mary Cioca, he married the former Beulah Johnston on Oct. 25, 1920. Survivors include his wife; sons, Alexander Choco, Jr. of Largo, FL, Nick of Rowland Heights, CA, John of Santa Ana, CA, and Emmanuel of New Castle; daughters, Mary Collingwood, Helen Choco, Mildred Shaw, all of New Castle; Elizabeth Kray of Largo, Glory Adams of Lansing, MI; a brother Simion Cioca in Rumania; and 17 grandchildren. Interment made in Graceland Cemetery.

Alexander Cioca Sr.
Alexander Cioca (Choco), Sr., 78, of 2103 Delaware Ave, died at 3:30 a.m. today in the Jameson Memorial Hospital after a years illness.
He was born in Transylvania, Rumania, Dec. 19, 1890 to the late Alexander and Mary Cioca. He was married Oct. 25, 1920 to the former Beulah Johnston. He was retired from the Shenango Products Division of INTERPACE.
Mr. Cioca was a member of the Assembly of God Church in New Castle and the Men's Bible Class of the Church.
Surviving are his wife; four sons, Alexander Choco, Jr. of Largo, FL, Nick Choco of Rowland Heights, Calif., John Choco of Santa Ana, Calif., and Emmanuel Choco of New Castle; five daughters, (Mary) Collingwood, Helen Choco, (Mildred) Shaw, all of New Castle, Mrs. Ernest (Elizabeth) Kray of Largo, Mrs. Glory Adams of Lansing, Mich.; a brother, Simion Cioca in Rumania; and 17 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Leyde-Tanner Mortuary, Highland and Winter Avenues, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary by the Rev. David Owen of the Assembly of God Church.
Interment will be in Graceland Memorial Cemetery.
