NEW CASTLE, Pa.
Frank W. Boal, 227 Cecil Ave., died at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday (4-18-1978) in Jameson Memorial Hospital, New Castle, following an eight-month illness. He was 66.
Mr. Boal was born in New Castle Sept. 24, 1911, to Frank L. and Amanda Allen Boal.
He had lived in this community all his life and was a retired employe of Pennsylvania power Co.
He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, New Castle, and the New Castle Eagle's Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, the former Dorothy Howley; a son, Frank R., Chesapeake, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Barbara) Palmer, West Middlesex; a stepdaughter, Mrs. James (Kathleen) Eckelberger, San Diego, Calif; two stepsons, William J. Howley, New Castle, and George B. Howley, Pittsburgh, and four step-grandchildren.
His first wife, the former Mary Sharp, died Feb. 15, 1974.
Burial at Fair Oaks Cemetery.
