Aiken service
A service for Mrs. M. Ina Timby Aiken, 85, of 1701 Huron Ave., will be held at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Gordan Thompson & Sons Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, Ohio.
The Rev. Eugene A. Kerns of Ellwood City Free Methodist Church, Kingsville, Ohio, will officiate.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Interment will be in Lula Falls Cemetery, Kingsville.
Mrs. Aiken died suddenly at 7 a.m. today at her home.
She was born in Evergreen, Mich., Feb. 3, 1883, to Edward Payson and Cornelia Clara Timby. Her husband, the Rev. Walter M. Aiken, died June 7, 1940. She was a member of the Conneaut Ohio Free Methodist Church, the Women's Missionary Society and was a former Sunday School teacher. She was also a member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union.
Surviving are two sons, Westell S. of New Castle and Harold W. of Beverly Hills, Calif,; a daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Florence) Granger of Tampa, Fla.; a niece Mrs. Ida Shumaker of Conneaut; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Aiken was preceded in death also by her parents, four sisters and two brothers.
