Anxiously seeking information on the Grubb families who settled in Juniata County in the late 1700's to early 1800's. I am trying to connect my ancestor, George Washington GRUBB (s) b. 1845 Indiana Co. Pa. to his ancestors. His mother was Jane GRAHAM b. 1829 and father was said to have been Jacob Grubb. There is a strong possiblility that George may have a tie to the Juniata Grubbs. Family stories include those of being descended from royalty, being Dutch, having Indian & Black Blood. I have not proven any of them. Any help is sincerely appreciated and desperately needed. Thank You

VANDYKE/VANDIKE; Fayette Co., Pa, USA; 1800-1820.
I'm looking for information about my gggg-grandfather, Henry
VANDYKE/VANDIKE. He lived in Fayette Co, Pa around 1800-1820 before
moving to Jefferson Co., Ohio. I believe he was born around Philadelphia
in 1785. I am also trying to find his father Ferdinand VANDIKE who died
around Philadelphia soon after Henry's birth. I believe that one of
Ferdinand's four brothers settled in Juniata Co., Pa near a town named
Vandyke.

I am tracking descendants of my ancestor Robert GOSHORN (m Nancy
LAUTHERS) who was born abt 1808 and counted in the 1850 census in Juniata
Co. Most of the family were in Tell Twp, Huntingdon Co., but some
spilled over the county line. I am also interested in connections to the
LAUTHERS, McMATH, McNEAL, and HAGIE families in the area.
