Samuel Meyers Biss, 60 year-old Montgomery Township stonemason, died of a heart attack at 3 o'clock Wednesday at a home in Blairsville where he had been boarding while at work on construction of the new American Legion home in Blairsville. The man apparently was in the best of health on Tuesday and worked as usual. Mr Biss was born in Indiana County, January 1, 1877, a son of Mr and Mrs Benjamin BISS.  Surviving are his widow, Mrs Zoe Biss, and these children: Mrs Gale BERRINGER of Uniontown, Indiana County; William BISS of Canfield, Ohio; J.Z. BISS, residing in the state of Maryland. The body may be viewed at the Rairigh Funeral Home in Hillsdale until 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, when funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Rex Brickle of Hillsdale. Interment will be in the Rowley Cemetery at Hillsdale.

Blakley Silas   Silas BLAKLEY aged 65, died in the home of his sister, Mrs. W. E. COLLINS, of West Lebanon at 10:00 a.m. Thursday following an illness of two weeks.  Mr Blakley is survived by one brother, Albert, of Chicago; and two sisters, Mrs. J. M. RISINGER, of Homer City, and Mrs. COLLINS. Funeral services will be held in the Collins home Saturday at 1:00 p.m. by Rev. Craighead of the West Lebanon Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. Friday, August 14, 1936
Bohovich Charles   Charles BOHOVICH, four-year-old son of John and Eliabeth (sp? Elizabeth) (ALFELDA) BOHOVICH of House No 408, Brenizer, near Blairsville, died of pneumonia at 8 o'clock yesterday morning at  his home. Surviving are the parents, four sisters, Sophia, Margaret, Anna and Elizabeth and Michael BOHOVICH, all at home. Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning. Short rites will take place at the home at 9:30 o'clock after which the body will be removed to St. Mary's Greek Catholic Church at Bradenville, near Latrobe, where obsequies will be conducted at 10 o'clock. Interment in the church cemetery. Jan. 15, 1937
Bone Richard   Richard BONE, a resident of Reynoldsville for the past 47 years, died in his home Wednesday morning at the age of 73 years, of a heart condition following a protracted illness.  The deceased was born April 22, 1863, in England, a son of the late Mr and Mrs Robert BONE. He came to this country when a young man and on February 14, 1895, was united in marriage to Miss Elizabeth BINNEY, of Reynoldsville . The couple had lived in Reynoldsville since their marriage.  Mr Bone was a member of the Methodist Church and belonged to the I.O.O.F. and Knights of Pythias. He was well known thruout the Reynoldsville section where his death is sincerely mourned by his myriad friends. Surviving are his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Jay GOULD, of Reynoldsville, and the following brothers and sisters: George BONE of Punxsutawney, Walter BONE of Dixonville,  Henry BONE of Barnesboro, William BONE of Verona, Robert and Thomas BONE of Reynoldsville; Mrs Jennie KIRKMAN, of Indiana, and Mrs Margaret EISLEY, of Wilkinsburg.  Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the bereaved home, with Rev P. Bortz Simon P Simon P BORTZ of Washington township, Westmoreland County, died in his home yesterday morning after an illness of several months. Mr Bortz had been a life-long resident of the farm upon which he was born 8 (as printed in paper) years ago, a son of Peter and Hettie ROWE BORTZ. Mr Bortz was a member of the Poke Run Church. Mr Bortz leaves his wife, Nannie E. Bortz and eight children, Roy D., McKeesport; Edith, Irene, and Orville BORTZ, all of New Kensington; George R, at home; Mrs Vella McCRACKEN, Apollo; Mrs Maude MASTERS, McKeesport, and Mrs Pauline SHAFFER, Salina; one sister, Mrs J. L. KUHNS, Apollo, and four grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held in the home at 2:30 p.m. Sunday by Rev Marshall D Berryhill, pastor of the Poke Run Presbyterian Church. Cohen Elsie May Elsie May COHEN, 14-year-old Negress  of Brenizer, near Blairsville, died Wednesday afternoon in Indiana Hospital. She was a daughter of Mr and Mrs Paul COHEN of Brenizer and in addition to her parents is survived by nine brothers. Funeral Services will be held Sunday with burial to be in a Greensburg Cemetery. Diamond James   James DIAMOND, Johnstown, February 19--James Diamond, 66, an employee of the Harris-Boyer Baking Company for the last 20 years, and an outstanding member of Calvary Methodist Episcopal Church, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday in his home, 156 D Street.  Death was attributed to a complication of ailments. Mr Diamond was born in Blacklick Township, Indiana County a son of John and Elizabeth (HESS) DIAMOND, both deceased.  He came to Johnstown when a young man and worked in Morrellville until about 20 years ago when he became affiliated with the Harris-Boyer Company. Active in church affairs, Mr Diamond was a member of the Board of Trustees and chief usher in the Calvary M. E. Church.  He also served as secretary of the Sunday school.  Prominent in fraternal organizations, he was a trustee in the Sons of Veterans, a past president of the P.A.L., and a trustee of the Memorial Hall Association.  Surviving are his widow, Mrs Anna (McCLEARY) DIAMOND, and the following children--Clyde DIAMOND of 4 Brixn!er Alley, John DIAMOND of 70 D street, Louis DIAMOND of 115 Fairfield avenue, and Arvella, wife of Thomas CALLISTER of 158 D Street.  Mr Diamond was a brother of Mrs Elva MACK of Indiana County and John DIAMOND of the State of Ohio. He also leaves a half-sister, Mrs Lizzie BUCHANAN of Corrine street: a half-brother, Harrison SKYLES of Indiana County, and a step-brother, Robert SKYLES of Oakhurst. Ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Diamond home. Rev Paul Lindberg, pastor of the Calvary M. E. Church will conduct the rites. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery. Feb. 19, 1937
Felton Henrietta Dishong Mrs. Henrietta (DISHONG) FELTON, 71, wife of Charles Felton, died of pneumonia Wednesday morning at her home in Seward. She had been ill only a short time. Born April 2, 1865, Mrs. Felton had resided in Seward for many years. In addition to her husband, she leaves these children:  Mrs. Matilda DEVLIN, Mrs. Mabel AMBURN and John and Herbert Felton, of Seward, and Mrs. Mary Felton of Armagh. A brother, John DISHONG, of Frostburg, Md., and a sister, Mrs. Mary E HULL of Derry, also survive. Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Felton home, with interment in the Armagh Cemetery. March 19, 1937
Fennell Lebbeus John Front Page - Father-In-Law of Coroner Dies From Stroke Lebbeus John FENNELL, connected with the West Penn Railways Company for twenty years prior to 1930, when he and his wife came to Indiana to make their home with their son-in-law and daughter, Coroner and Mrs John WOODS, Lebbeus John FENNELL passed away in the Woods home at 1:50 p.m. yesterday.  He was in his 75th year and death was due to cerebral hemorrhage.  He was born August 24, 1862, in New Alexandria, and until removing to Latrobe in 1900 had always lived in that section. Mr and Mrs FENNEL came to Indiana in 1930 and in June, 1932, Mrs FENNELL was injured fatally in an automobile accident. Mr FENNELL had long been a member of the Presbyterian Church and was connected with the Woodmen of the World. His cheery presence about the Woods home and elsewhere where he was wont to mingle with friends, will be sadly missed.  Surviving are these children: Mrs John WOODS of Indiana; Thomas W FENNELL of Richmond, Va., and Mrs Martha LONG of Los Angeles, Calif. He was a brother of Homer FENNELL of near New Alexandria and Sheridan FENNELL of Greensburg. Mrs Long is flying east and was to arrive at the Pittsburgh airport shortly after 3 o'clock this afternoon. Funeral services will be conducted in the Woods home at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, in charge of the Rev Robert L Clark, Jr. S.T.D., pastor of  the First Presbyterian Church and interment     (end of obit missing) Jan. 15, 1937
Gailey Margaret M Miss Margaret M. GAILEY
Miss Margaret M. Gailey died at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in the home of her brother, Joseph GAILEY in Johnstown, with whom she had lived for many years. She was a daughter of Samuel and Catherine (ALEXANDER) GAILEY, being born in Conemaugh township May 7, (?? note: obit says born in 1972). She was a member of the Saltsburg United Presbyterian Church. Surviving with the brother mentioned above are three other brothers -- A. P. Gailey, Tarentum; Elmer Gailey, Otis, Colo., and John H. Gailey, Pittsburgh.  Friends will be received until noon Sabbath in the Robinson Funeral Parlors, Saltsburg. Services will be conducted in the Saltsburg United Presbyterian Church at 2:30 o'clock and interment will be in Eldersridge Cemetery.

Gentile William   William GENTILE, whose death occurred in Indiana Hospital at 2:45 a.m. Thursday, will be buried in St. Bernard's Cemetery here, following short services at the grave at 2 p.m. Saturday. The funeral cortege will leave the family home in McIntyre at 1 p.m.  A son of Dominic and Liberata Gentile, the deceased was born in McIntyre October 15, 1915. He was a member of McIntyre Local No. 3548 United Mine Workers of America. Surviving are his father; a brother, John Gentile, at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Tony DUGAR of McIntyre and Miss Vera Gentile, at home. Friday, August 14, 1936
Gourley Clarence E Dr. Clarence E. GOURLEY of Mingo Junction, O., former resident of Big Run and Punxsutawney, died in his Ohio home Tuesday evening after several months' illness at the age of sixty years.  A son of Mr. and Mrs. George Gourley, he was born in Big Run, April 19, 1876. Attending school in that town, he was employed as a clerk in the Dr. S.S. Hamilton Drug Store for some time, after which he attended medical school in Columbus, Ohio. He practiced in New Alexander, and later in Mingo Junction, O., until his death.  A member of the Presbyterian Church of Mingo Junction, he belonged to the Masonic Lodge for a number of years.  The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Eva Gourley, and two daughters, Miss Martha Gourley and Mrs. Arthur ZEIGLER, of Steubensville, O. Two grandchildren also survive as well as the following brothers and sisters: R. S. Gourley and S. H. Gourley, of Big Run; Lon E. Gourley, of Akron, O., and Mrs. John MILLER of Big Run.  Funeral services were held in the home of Mrs. John Miller in Big Run, this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. A. A. Bird of Penfield, officiated and interment followed in Fairview Cemetery, Big Run. Friday, August 14, 1936
Guido Mary Mrs Mrs. Mary GUIDO, 73, well-known resident of Indiana, and mother of Mrs. Josephine FLORIA, Indiana County court interpreter, died yesterday at her home in Ernest. Death was attributed to a brief illness of a complication of diseases. Mrs. Guido was born in Italy in 1863, and came to this country more than 30 years ago. Her husband, Anthony Guido, died a number of years ago. Surviving are four children - August Guido, Mrs. Josephine FLORI (sp. typed as printed), both of Indiana; Kathryn Guido of Moon Run and Frank Guido, residing in New York State. She also leaves a sister, Mrs Frank RAMETTA of Cadogan, Armstrong County. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning in the Ernest Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. March 19, 1937

Hinchman Thomas Franklin Thomas Franklin HINCHMAN, aged 19, son of Pearl HANCOCK HINCHMAN, died in Greensburg Hospital Wednesday. He was born August 19, 1917 in Young township. He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Mrs. Marie HANCOCK, of Blairsville, and Bernice at home; and three brothers, James, of Kiski Heights, and Robert and Gerald, at home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at the home of his brother, James, in Kiski Heights, at 3: p.m. by Rev Albert E Speck. Interment will be in Edgewood Cemetery. March 19, 1937
Hopkins A Murray Alexander Murray Hopkins, son of John and Miriam (WORK) HOPKINS was born February 4, 1857, and died September 13, 1936.  Death was caused by complications following pneumonia. His life was practically all spent in East Mahoning township. He was married (first) to Rosetta HAMILTON, on March 12, 1891, and her death occurred February 14, 1904. To this union were born three children: Mark of Portland, Ore., Mary, wife of Lester STEELE of East Mahoning township and Grace, who died in infancy.  In December, 1909, he was married (second) to Amanda Margaretta THOMPSON, who survives. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs Myra COLE of Fort Morgan, Colo., and three grandchildren: Horace, Donald, and Marjorie STEELE.      Mr Hopkins was a member of the Mahoning United Presbyterian Church. From childhood he was a faithful attendant and in later years served as superintendent of the Sabbath School or teacher and for many years a ruling elder.  He was interested in music, being a song leader before the adoption of instrumental music in the church. As a citizen he stood for that which makes a true man--temperance, honesty and education--serving as school director for many years.      His unswerving fidelity to his Bible and the truths contained therein marked him as a man of the faith, who, with the Psalmist, could say:  "I delight to do Thy will."     Funeral services were conducted in Mahoning Church Tuesday afternoon, in charge of his pastor, the Rev Samuel W Shane and interment was in the church cemetery. Following a week's illness of pneumonia, Ronald Wesley, four-months-old son of Stephen and Laura (CLAWSON) JENNINGS, of Coral, died in the parental home at 9:45 p.m. Sunday, in charge of the Rev. Samuel Hill, pastor of the Homer City Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Coral Lutheran Cemetery. Friday February 19, 1937
Keibler Anna Mary Mrs. Anna Mary KEIBLER, 73, wife of Luther Y Keibler, died at 12 a.m. Wednesday in her home near Mamont. She leaves eight children: Mrs. Minnie MITCHELL, Westmoreland City; Mrs. Lydia BAKER, Slickville; Samuel Keibler, Grafton, W. Va.; Walter Keibler, Export; Mrs. Hattie BREWER, Salina; James Keibler, Slickville; Jessie Keibler at home, and Frances Keibler of Slickville. Twenty-one grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and two brothers, Daniel GRESSMAN, near Harrison City, (no second brother named) and a sister, Mrs. Lydia GOOD, of Greensburg also survive. Kerr Margaret   Mrs. Margaret KERR
Mrs. Margaret Kerr, Punxsutawney, Feb 5.-- Mrs. Margaret Kerr, wife of Edgar Kerr and a resident of Punxsutawney the past 22 years, died Wednesday evening at 6:30 o'clock in Adrian Hospital at the age of 65 years following an illness of two years.  The deceased was born March 14, 1871, in Trade City, a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Jacob DORMIRE. She was united in marriage 46 years ago to Edgar KERR of Smicksburg. Following their marriage the couple resided in DuBois, coming here in 1914. Mrs. Kerr was a devout member of the English Lutheran Church. She was held in high esteem by her many friends in Punxsutawney, where her death is sincerely mourned.  Surviving are her husband, two sons, Walter, of Whittier, Calif., and Fred, at home; three brothers; William DORMIRE, of Covode; Curt DORMIRE of Trade City, Harvey DORMIRE, of DuBois, and a half-sister, Mrs. Johnson SHEESLEY, of Big Run.  The body will remain in the Jordan Funeral Home here until Saturday at 1 p.m. when it will be taken to the English Lutheran Church, there to lie in state until 2 o'clock, when services will be conducted by Rev. L. F. Wagschal. Burial will be in the Trade City Cemetery.

Liveright A M A. M. LIVERIGHT Clearfield, Jan 15. Friends learned today of the death in Washington D.C. of A.M. LIVERIGHT, a member of the Clearfield County bar for the past 42 years. The attorney died last night of pneumonia after a week's illness. He had been associated prominently with efforts of Pennsylvania coal operators to have freight rates reduced and was the county solicitor for several years. Jan. 15, 1937

M'Claren Rome V (front page) Rome M'CLARAN Died Last Night - Prominent Drug, Business Man of Saltsburg Passes Away After Short Illness. Rome V. M'CLARAN, 60, prominent resident of Saltsburg and connected with the drug business for many years, died at his home there at 2 a.m. today, after a brief illness. He was born in Saltsburg, March 16, 1876, a son of James and Catherine (ANDRE) McClaran, and had always lived in Saltsburg, where he was prominent in civic and church affairs, being connected with the Presbyterian membership. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War.  His wife, Olive (STUCHELL) McClaran, died in 1927. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald A. SUTHERLAND of the Kiskiminetas Springs School; a granddaughter, and a brother, Joseph A. McClaran.  Funeral services will be conducted in the residence of his brother at 4 p.m. Sunday, by the Rev. M. M'Cormick Edgar Benton Edgar Benton M'CORMICK, (front page) nearly 87 years old, prominent citizen and business man and the second oldest resident of Cherry Tree, died at his home there yesterday afternoon. A son of Captain R. H. and Eleanor B. McCORMICK, the deceased was born November 11, 1849.  He was a life-long member of and a consistent worker in the Presbyterian Church and enjoyed the respect, confidence and esteem of all with whom he came into contact. His death is a matter of sincere regret to many. Surviving are his widow, Mrs Margaret ATCHINSON McKEAGE McCORMICK, three children; George D McCormick of Seattle, Wash., Ivan E McCormick of Cherry Tree and Harry W. McCormick of Centralia, Wash., and a sister, Mrs. E. H. CAMP of Sanford, N.C.  Funeral services will be conducted in the Presbyterian Church of Cherry Tree at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. McClure William J William J McCLURE, 77 of New Alexandria, died at 7:00 a.m. Thursday after a lingering illness. Mr McCLURE lived his entire life in Derry township, Westmoreland County, and in the vicinity of New Alexandria. He leaves a brother,  A. McCloud McCLURE of Salem Township. Friends will be received at the Felton Funeral Home in New Alexandria until 10 o'clock Saturday morning when funeral services will be held in the Reformed Presbyterian Church with Rev R. C. Fullerton in charge. Interment will be made in the reformed Presbyterian Cemetery. Friday February 19, 1937
McGara Esther May Miss Esther May McGARA
Last rites for Miss Esther May McGARA, 22, a prominent young woman of Trafford, a member of the senior class at Indiana State Teachers College, and whose death occurred of lobar pneumonia in Indiana Hospital at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, will be conducted in her late residence, 404 Jewell avenue, Trafford, at 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Surviving are her father, Samuel C. McGARA, and a brother Clemens McGARA, both of Trafford. Miss McGARA became ill on January 24 and was removed to the hospital on January 30. Her condition was critical from the first and word of her death was a profound sorrow to her classmates and the many friends she had made since resident in Indiana.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Miller of Blairsville, who died at 8:10 o'clock Wednesday in Latrobe Hospital will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. BLACK of Socialville. Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery. Mrs. Miller's death was attributed to a complication of diseases. She was born at Waterman, Indiana County, August 20, 1916, a daughter of Charles W. and Lulu (UNCAPHER) Black. Surviving in addition to her parents are these brothers and sisters: Mrs. June NONENBERG of Scranton, Mrs. Ethel GOWER of Clarksville, Walter Black of Revloc, Merle Black of Scranton, and Ernest Black and Misses Clarice, Betty and Ruth Black all at home. She leaves her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Ione PEARCE of Kellysburg, and four grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Robinson Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. Saturday. Pittman Elizabeth Roberta Miss Elizabeth Roberta PITTMAN.  A heart attack caused the death at 9:45 a.m. Thursday of Miss Elizabeth Roberta PITTMAN, 68, at the Pittman homestead in Montgomery township. A daughter of Mr and Mrs George PITTMAN, she was born September 2, 1868. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Cherry Tree. Surviving are these sisters and brothers: Mrs Carie LYDICK, at home; Ms Lora E JONES of Sacramento, Calif., B. H. PITTMAN of New York City and W. D. PITTMAN of Youngstown, O.  Funeral services will be conducted in her late residence at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, in charge of the Rev Mr Anderson of Bellville, Pa. Death Claims Aged Minister. Father of Raymond F. Smith Passes Away.  The Rev Nathan B. SMITH, a native of Beach Haven, Luzerne County, where he was born December 19, 1848, father of Raymond F. Smith of Indiana, died Wednesday morning, February 3, at his home in Clearfield.  He was a retired minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church. A son of Isaac and Matilda (FORTNER) Smith, his boyhood days were spent on a farm near Nescopek, the family home later being removed to Berwick.  He was graduated form Dickinson Seminary with the class of 1872 and the following year entered the Central Pennsylvania Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. His appointments included those of Orangeville, Washingtonville, Elysburg (?), Muhlenburg, Gordan and Helfenstein, Stockton and Beaver Meadow, Grand Island, Fairview, Glen Hope, New Washington, Howard, Lightstreet, Cassville, Mahaffey, Woodland and Bradford, Airville, Munson, Cherrytree, Mapleton and Mill Creek. He served three pastorates and Orangeville and retired from the active ministry in 1923. On February 10, 1876, he was united in marriage with Esther Alice GIRTON. Mrs Smith passed away July 24, 1926. Surviving are six children: A. Haven SMITH of Orange, Calif., Miss Alma and Miss Mida M. SMITH, both of Clearfield; Mrs. B.K. STEWART of Birmingham, Pa., Mrs. Charles J. LEPPERD of Pottstown, and Raymond F SMITH of Indiana. Five grandchildren --B. KELLAR and Nadine STEWART, Ruth and Norman LEPPERD, and Harry R SMITH --also survive.  The body will lie in state in Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church, Clearfield, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, when services will be conducted. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Stewart George R Death Claims Geo. R. Stewart. Former Indiana Resident Passes Away in Pasadena. George R STEWART.  Word has been received here of the death in Pasadena, Calif., yesterday of George R Stewart, former well-known resident and civil engineer of Indiana. Surviving are his widow, Mrs Ella (WILSON) STEWART, daughter of the late A. W. WILSON of Indiana, and two sons: Andrew Wilson Stewart and George R Stewart, Jr., both of Pasadena. Thompson Robert   Robert THOMPSON,   John HAUCK DuBois, Jan 15. An automobile stuck and killed Robert THOMPSON, 40, a pedestrian today, the second fatal traffic accident in DuBois within 24 hours. Coroner Williams said W. Haley BETTS, Clearfield County superintendent of highways and former assemblyman, drove the car. An inquest will be held later. The coroner is also investigating the death of John W HAUCK, 60, who was also hit by a car yesterday. Jan. 15, 1937
Tilton Olive S Miss Olive S. TILTON, head of the Department of Mathematics at Indiana State Teachers College from 1924 to 1936, died in her home at 929 Hazel street Danville, Ill., today of a complication of diseases.  Miss Tilton had been in ill health for some time, having resigned her educational post for that reason last June. She is survived by one sister, Miss Clara Tilton, and three brothers, Roy and Edward of Danville, and Frank of Chicago. Funeral arrangements were not available today. March 19, 1937
Toth Margaret   Mrs Margaret TOTH, 48, mother of 11 children, died of complications shortly after noon yesterday in Indiana Hospital where she had been a patient since Christmas. Her home was in Kent. A native of Austria-Hungary, Mrs TOTH was the wife of Andrew TOTH and had resided in Kent for  the last 16 years. Prior to that she lived in Clymer. Surviving are her husband, eight sons, Steve and John, both of Garfield, New Jersey; Andrew Jr of Kent; Louis of McIntyre and Joseph, Charles, Thomas and Gaylord TOTH, all at home, and three daughters, Mrs Davis SETLOCK of Kent, Mrs George ZAGATES of Indiana and Miss Julia TOTH at home. A sister, Mrs Louis GRILOCZKY of South Norwalk, Conn., also survives. The funeral arrangements are incomplete. Jan. 15, 1937
Totten David Nathan David Nathan TOTTEN aged 61, died in his home in Banks Township, near Smithport, at 1:20 p.m. Thursday. He was a retired farmer and had been a life-long resident of that community. He was a member of the Knights of Ppthias (sp. Pythias). He leaves three children, Leora, at home;  James, of Arcadia, and Leonard, of Glen Campbell R.D.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the family home by Rev Rex Brickell, of the Wesleyan Methodist Church. Truxal Eva K Mrs. Eva K. TRUXAL, DuBois, Feb 19--in the death of Mrs Eva K TRUXAL, who passed away at her home on Third street at 6:00 a.m. Thursday, the community of DuBois lost a woman who had been prominently identified in the development of DuBois and one who took a keen interest in civic affairs of the city until the day of her death.  Mrs. Truxal, who was 88 years of age, died following a short illness. Despite her advanced years, Mrs. Truxal had enjoyed good health until a short time ago. Up until three weeks ago she was physically able to be around, and her keen mind retained all faculties until the end.  Mrs Truxal was born in Saltsburg, Pa., on September 20, 1848. She was united in marriage to Logan M TRUXAL in Apollo, Pa., in 1871, and resided for a short time in Leechburg, later moving with her family to DuBois, coming here in the early eighties. Her husband known locally as Captain Truxal was associated with the DuBois lumbering interests as bookkeeper.  The deceased is survived by the following sons and daughters:  Mrs I. L. RICH, Bess TRUXAL, A. L. TRUXAL, and Ralph TRUXAL, all of DuBois; Mrs Charles BARNETTE. of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs Nellie ZELL, of Brockway. Two sisters Miss Clara BLAIR, of Union City, and Miss May KELLEY, and one brother Charles of Apollo, also survive, as do nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at the home, Third street, East Side, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Weeks William Henry (Weeks obit also appeared in the Blairsville paper. details and spellings differ slightly) William Henry WEEKS, aged 52, secretary of the Derry YMCA since 1923 and brother of Charles D. WEEKS, former secretary of the YMCA in Indiana, died in his home at Derry at 12:20 a.m. today following a heart attack last Wednesday night.  Mr Weeks was born Nov 3, 1884 in Oswego, NY, son of Rev Silas D and Mildred H WEEKS. He joined his father in the YMCA service in 1903, serving as assistant secretary in Massachusetts and West Virginia and was promoted to general secretary in 1912. He married Miss Ella KLINE, of Reynoldsville, Pa., June 7, 1912. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greensburg, Lamont Lodge F. & A. M., Tall Cedars of Lebanon and Secretary of the Derry Ministerial Association.  He is survived by his mother, his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Virginia CAMPBELL, Mrs. Mildred BOVARD and Miss Ella Jean WEEKS, all of Derry; three sisters, Mrs. H. F. LAWRENCE,   of Pottssville; Mrs A. N. MORRIS, of Baltimore, Md., and Mrs Dean W FREE, of Cleveland, and three brothers, Charles D and Harvey D WEEKS of Huntingdon, W. Va.   Friends will be received at the family home until 2:00 p.m. Sunday when the body will be removed to the Derry Reformed Church, there to lie in state until 3:00 p.m. when services will be conducted. Interment will be in the Derry Cemetery. Friday February 19, 1937
Williams Clarence A Clarence A. WILLIAMS. Ten days following the death of his wife, Clarence A Williams, 77, suffering from pneumonia and complications, died at his home in White township at 10 p.m. Thursday. A native of Gaskill township, Jefferson county, he was born January 2, 1860, a son of John and Mary (KENDALL) WILLIAMS. Some 39 years ago he, with his family, moved to White township, where he had since resided. In his early manhood, he followed the lumber business.  May 13, 1890, he was married to Miss Mary FINDLEY of White township. Surviving are these children: Mrs John M KRING of Edri, Luther S WILLIAMS of White township, and George K WILLIAMS, at home. A son, Thomas, died a year ago. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Mrs Anna GIBSON of Punxsutawney, Mrs. Cassius GEER of Brookville, Mrs Walter F GRUBE of Punxsutawney, Miss Rhesa F WILLIAMS of Lake Toxaway, NC.   Mr Williams was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Indiana. Funeral services will be conducted in his late residence at 2 p.m. Sunday. His pastor, the Tev Holt Hughes, D.D., will officiate and interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. Friday February 19, 1937

Young Mary Ann Mrs Mary Ann YOUNG, 70, well-known resident of Saltsburg, died yesterday following complications of a fractured hip. Her death occurred in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Tarentum, where she was removed some time ago after suffering the fracture in a fall at her home.  The widow of Robert YOUNG, she had resided in Saltsburg for the last 13 years and prior to that had lived in England.  Surviving are two sons, Frederick W. of Saltsburg and James YOUNG of England, and two daughters, Mrs Elizabeth DUNN and Mrs Charles SIMPSON both of Saltsburg, 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will take place at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in the DUNN home at Saltsburg with Rev W. L. Morgan, Saltsburg Methodist minister in charge. Interment will be in Edgewood Cemetery, Saltsburg. Zenk Letha L Mrs Letha L ZENK Following an extended illness of a complication of diseases, Mrs. Letha (LONGWILL) ZENK, 53, wife of Paul H ZENK, and a native of Indiana, died Thursday at her home in Canton, O., where she had been resident for eight years. She was a member of the Martin Luther Church of Canton. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs Millard POND of Etna, O.; two sisters, Mrs P. A. EBERHART of Warren O., and Mrs Veva OSMUN of Kent, O., and three brothers: Edgar T and Herbert L LONGWILL, both of Indiana, and M. F. LONGWILL of St. Louis, Mo.  Funeral services will be conducted in the Schriver Allison Funeral Home in Youngstown, O., Monday afternoon and interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Youngstown.
