This picture is of the Edwards' cabin which was started in 1787 and was still standing in 1900. At the time of a family reunion in 1906 only the chimneys remained. Now the stones are in a pit. It is on the property of Elsie Edwards near Cook's, near Robertsdale.

It was the home of the families of John Edwards (1745-1831), Joshua Edwards (1787-1856) and Wilson Edwards (1830-1914). Wilson is the man in the nearest doorway; the other members of his family aren't identified.
