Glenna Imogene Neely Minor, 72, of Prosperity, died at 4:35 a.m.Wednesday, February 10, 1999, in Washington Hospital.
She was born August 26, 1926, in Proctor, W. Va., a daughter of Sam andViolet Workman Neely.
Mrs. Minor was a homemaker, a member of Beulah Baptist Church andchurch choir director for many years.
On December 25, 1953, she married Elbert E. Minor, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, John Whipkey, Gary Whipkey and RonaldMinor, all of Washington; a daughter, betty Fisher of Prosperity; twobrothers, Buck Neely and Sam Neely of Cameron, W. Va.; three sisters,Joann Strait of Jackson, Mich., Wonda Courtwright of Waynesburg andRamona Cook of Washington; 16 grandchildren; and ninegreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Sam Whipkey; four brothers, Bob, Gene, Carl andVincent Neely; and three sisters, Gladis Gray, Frieda McMasters andRexenne Bighley.
