| Emma M. Fordyce A member of Sand Hill Church of Christ Emma M. Fordyce, 85, of NewFreeport R.D. 1, died Sunday, October 18, 1998, in Greene CountyMemorial Hospital, Waynesburg. She was born November 22, 1912, in Birchfield, W. Va., a daughter ofAsa and Oaty Bell Gump Stout. Mrs. Fordyce was a member of Sand Hill Church of Christ. She was married to Aubrey W. Fordyce, who died April 15, 1978. Surviving are five sons, Donald A. Fordyce of New Freeport; Sherell D.Fordyce, New Freeport, Ervin A. Fordyce, Rootstown, Ohio, John W.Fordyce of Mannington, W. Va., and Thomas L. Fordyce of New Freeport;one sister, Hazel Anderson of New Freeport; one brother, Everett Stoutof Minerva, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Deceased are two sisters, Julia Peterson and Ettie Stout; and fourbrothers, Russell, Thurman, Cephus and Samuel Stout. |
