Hughes,Mary Ann --- Aged 80 of Dilliner (Maple Sterling) died in the
Greene County Memorial Hospital, Saturday, May 11, 1957, following a
brief illness. She had been a resident of Greene County for
twenty-five years. She is survived by six sons, Charles, Irvin and
Ralph, Dilliner; Joseph and Chuncey, Fairchance; Woodrow, Pt. Marion;
two daughters, Mrs. James (Minnie) Leasure, Masontown; Mrs. Joseph
(Cora) Rimmel, Dilliner, with whom she resided; one brother, William
Fisher, Cherry Hill, W.Va; thirty-one grandchildren; twenty-seven
great grandchildren. Friends are being received in the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Rimmel, Dilliner, until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday when brief
services will be held followed by additional rites in the Church of
the Brethren, Fairchance, at 1:30, with Rev. Willis Rosserman
officiating. Interment will be in White Rock Cemetery under the
direction of the Herod Funeral Home, Pt., Marion.
