 | DEEP VALLEY MAN KILLED Struck on the head by a heavy clamp whileworking on a rotary drillingmachine near Harrison, Mich, Lance I. Antill, 32, well known residentof Deep Valley, died of a fractured skull Wednesday morning, Feb. 25,at 5 o'clock in the Mt. Pleasant (Mich.) Hospital, 11 hours after theaccident.Lance I. Antill, 32, Hurt Fatally in Michigan Oil Field Mishap A son of Thurman and Mary Harrington Antill,of Deep Valley, whosurvive, he was born June 18, 1909, and spent most of his life in theDeep Valley community. He married Frances Wright, who surviveswith one daugher, Marlyn, aged five. Mr. Antill had been employedin the oil and gas fields of western Greene County before going to workin the Michigan oil fields two years ago for the Pure OilCompany. Mr. Antill was a member of the Laurel Run MethodistChurch. |
