Miss Margaret A. Engle
Miss Margaret A. Engle, of near Oak Forest, died at her home Saturdaymorning, January 19, 1929, at 8 o'clock after an illness of two weeksdue to pneumonia. Her death was the third to occur in the family in alittle more than a month. Her sister, Miss Nancy Engle, died December9, 1928, and her brother, Peter E. Engle, died January 17, just twodays prior to her passing. One sister, Emma Engle, at home, survives.
Funeral services were held at the Engle home on Monday with Rev.Francis C. Viele, of Waynesburg, officiating. Interment was in Rosemontcemetery, Rogersville.

Monday, January 8, 1940
Miss Emma Engle
Friends, yesterday received word of the death of Miss Emma Engle, aged83 years, well-known resident of Center Township who died at the homeof her niece, Mrs. Nettie Sampson, of Roseville, O., with whom she wasspending the winter.
Miss Engle was born in Center township, a daughter of the late Mr. andMrs. Godfrey Engle, and was the last of a family of five. She had spenther entire life in Greene County, having gone to spend the winter withher niece two weeks ago. Several nieces and nephews survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock at theRogersville Christian Church in charge of the Rev. Mr. Garrett.Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery.
