WILL OF CHARLES DONNOM WARRICK
Fayette Co., PA, Saltlick Twp. dated 11 Dec 1839
In the name of God Amen. I Charles D. Warrick of Saltlick Township, Fayette County considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of sound mind and memory, (blessed be Almighty God for the same), do make and publish this my last will and testament as follows to wit: First I will that all my just debts, at my death, together with my funeral expenses be fully paid and satisfied. After which I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Jane Warrick, all the residue of my goods, chattels, household furniture, book accounts, bonds, notes and claims whatsoever of which I am in possession during her natural life or widowhood, to be by her used, in anyway she may think most conducive to her happiness, ease or comfort, while living my widow. And at her death, I will that all goods chattels, household furniture, Book accounts, bonds notes &e remaining be appraised, sold, and the proceeds equally divided amongst my children. And I do hereby constitute and appoint Robert Torrance and Jacob H. Miller my executors of this my last will and testament. In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this Eleventh day of December eighteen hundred and thirty-nine.

Fayette County ss (Regr.Seal) On the 14th day of March A.D. 1846, before me, Joseph Gadd, Register for the probate of wills and granting letters of administration, in and for the County of Fayette, personally came John Scuff the last subscribing witness to the foregoing instrument of writing, purporting it to be the last will & testament of Charles D. Warrick late of Saltlick Township decd and being affirmed according to law deposeth & saith, that he was present and saw & heard the testator sign, seal & declare the same as & for his last will & testament, and that at the time of so doing, he was of perfect & sound mind memory & understanding, to the best of his observation knowledge & belief & that he knows of no undue influence used or later will made by the decd. & that he signed his name as witness thereto, in the presence of & at the request of the testator & in the presence of the other subscribing witness. In testamony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal, of the Registers Office ! at Uniontown, the day & date aforesaid. Joseph Gadd, Regr.

Fayette County ss (Regr. Seal) On the 16th day of March, A.D. 1846, before me Joseph Gadd Register, for the probate of wills & granting letters of administration, in & for the County of Fayette, personally came Alexander Cumming, the first subscribing witness to the foregoing instrument of writing, purporting it to be the last will & testament of Charles D. Warrick late of Saltlick Township decd and being sworn according to law, deposeth & saith, that he saw and heard the testator, sign, seal. pronounce & declare the same as & for his last will & testament, and at the time of so doing he was of perfect & sound mind memory & understanding, to the best of his knowledge, observation, belief & that he knows of no undue influence used or later will made by the decd & that he signed his name as witness thereto at the request of & in the presence of the testator, & in the presence of the other subscribing witness. In Testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand & seal of the Registers office at Union Town, the day & date aforesaid. Joseph Gadd, Regr.

To the Register of Fayette County
Whereas I have been appointed by Charles D. Warrick one of the Executors of his last will & testament, This is to certify that I do hereby decline acting as such. Witness my hand this 17th day of March A.D. 1846.
