William Campbell being sick but in perfect mind and memory do make this
last Will and Testament in manner and form as followeth: that is to say I allow all my estate to be kept for raising
my family under the direction of my executors herein after and after the
payment of my Just Debts which I allow to be made out of my personal
estate and my executors and the remainder I allow to be kept on the
place for the use of the family ___ my youngest son Benjamin arrives at
the age of Fourteen years then I allow the real and personal estate to
be sold and equally divided between my wife Ruth Campbell and my
children James Campbell, Ephraim Campbell, Able Campbell and Benjamin
Campbell and my daughter Mary McCoy ___ allow after the decease of her
husband if she should survive him to have during her with one acre of
land to be cleared and fenced and a house raised thereon and I allow her
to have yearly twenty bushels of corn and ten bushels of wheat to be
left in a mill of my son's and also allow my sons to haul her firewood
and plow her land every year and to find one or two cows in rough fodder
if she should require it. I
allow that my sons shall be equally concerned in fulfilling what Mary
McCoy is allotted.
I hereby appoint James Campbell
Senior, of the County of Fayette, State of Pennsylvania and my
son James Campbell, Junior, my true and lawful executors to execute this
my last ___ and have it performed.
In testimony of the foregoing being my last will and testament I
hereby ___ my hand and seal this tenth day of July in the year one
thousand eight hundred and fifty ___. Signed
