Gallatin School was built after the turn of the century. The structure shown consisted of four very large classrooms on each floor, an office on the first floor and a nurse's office on the second floor. All of the rooms were accessed from a 2 ½ story rotunda in the center of the building. The basement had a small auditorium and a huge coal fired steam heat system. Contributed by E. M. Whetsel
