James Hammond Esquire Sheriff of said county comes into court and acknowledges his deed to Alexander McCLAIN for a tract of land containing one hundred and forty acres more or less, situate in Union Township adjoining William McDOWELL, Samuel WORK, Augustine MOORE and Philip SHUTE, sold as the property of Jonathan HILL at the suit of John MCCARTY for the (?) of Jacob BEESON for ninty three Pounds.
