Directions: From Uniontown, take the New Salem Road which runs west off Rt. 40 (at the Sheetz Gas Station). Go 5.0 miles and at the stop sign in New Salem, continue straight on New Salem Road for 1.0 miles and turn left onto Seatontown Road. Go 0.4 miles to an old red brick farm house on right. The cemetery is behind the house in a patch of woods in a field, about a 1/2 mile walk.
Note: The cemetery was reportedly started by the Hess Family when one of their children was killed by Indians in the late 1700s. Groundhogs have dug under many stones causing them to fall over and sometimes buried. Several stones are face down and could not be turned over.
