Directions: From Dunbar, take the road towards Ohiopyle. Go 3 miles and turn right on State Gameland Road. Continue about 1 mile to the end of the road and park in far end of the parking lot. Walk up the road at the corner of the lot. After crossing second bridge, go on the road to the right to the far end of field at top of hill. Stone is about 50 yards in the woods on right. This is about a mile and a half one-way mostly up hill. It is my understanding, that this stone was about 50 yards from the Bryner Farm cemetery which was destroyed years ago when the State Game Commission put in a food plot for wildlife. I was told that William Bryner served in both the Civil War and the Cuban War. He is said to have ridden with Teddy Roosevelt in Cuba. He would have been 61 years old.
