Huston Hill Cemetery, Benezette Township, Elk Co., PA as read by Jim Burke August 31, 2008.
I've modified this listing based off other information available including personal knowledge,and most recently
based on permission thanks to Sally and Iris Caskey from their Cemeteries and Burial Plots of Elk County Pennsylvania.
In doing this we became keenly aware of the errors that can occur in reading
quickly so many grave stones in a short time period , and the errors
that additionally occur in typing into a format for the computer. Please if you see
any errors or missing information let me know so I can correct this listing as I have done
already based off other avialable info. We know this is not 100% completely correct as
we couldn't read some of the markers. So any help is appreciated to keep this list correct.
FOLLOW 555 TO HICKS RUN - LOCATED BETWEEN GRANT AND DRIFTWOOD. FROM HICKS RUN, FOLLOW
HICKS RUN ROAD TO BARR HOLLOW ROAD TO TOP OF HILL. AT TOP OF THE HILL, BARR HOLLOW
ROAD BECOMES HUSTON ROAD. FOLLOW HUSTON ROAD SEVERAL MILES TO FORMER HUSTON SCHOOL,
LOCATED ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROAD. The GPS coordinates are: LAT-N41 23' 52" LONG-W78 15' 16"
