Before me the Register of Wills to, in and for said
county personally came Wm. F. McDill and Henry
S. Beers the subscribing witnesses to the written instrument in
writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Tobias
Reese, late of Wayne Township, deceased, who upon their oaths say
that they were each present at the execution of the written instrument and
saw the testator make his mark for his signature, (he never having learned
to write) and heard him declare the same to be his will, and that they at
his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other
subscribe the same as witnesses at which time said testator was of sound
mind they verily believe--
