In the name of God, amen. I Isaac Paden of Conneaut Twp., Crawford County and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being in a low state of health but of sound memory and understanding do constitute and make this my last will and testament as follows.

First, I do will and bequeath my soul to the Almighty God who gave it to me.

Secondly, I do will and bequeath and allow all my just debts be paid in the first place.

Thirdly, I do further will and bequeath all my household furniture together with one cow to my dear and beloved wife Rebecca for her own use.

Fourthly, I do will and bequeath to my son Isaac one hundred acres of the mill tract to be divided by our east and west line including the grist mills, reserving and allowing to my wife Rebecca all the income and profits arising from said mills until the said Isaac shall arrive at the age of twenty-one years if she the said Rebecca should so long live, and that she shall have her living off the said place during her life.

Fiftly, I do will and bequeath one hundred acres of the place I now live on to my daughter Rebecca and the other one hundred acres of the same place to my daughter Rachel to be divided equally by an east and west line and whichever of them gets the side that is improved is to pay the other forty dollars excepting they otherwise agree betwixt themselves.

Sixthly, I do further will and bequeath to my daughter Susannah Gilliland one hundred acres of land of the north of the mill tract, the sawing pine timber to be for the use of Isaac and his property only for sawing.

Seventhly, I do will further will and bequeath to my son Jacob and daughter Hannah Burwell and Ruth Hill a certain tract of land situate in the thirteenth township first range of Connecticut Western Reserve, Ashtabula County and state of Ohio, adjoining and being part of the tract of land that said Jacob Paden now lives on, to be divided equally between the said Jacob , Hannah and Ruth.

Eighthly, I do constitute and appoint my beloved wife Rebecca Paden executrix and my brother-in-law, Samuel Brooks, executer, to see this my last will and testament truly executed. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifth day of August 1809.
