Mrs. Mary Kiser, widow of James Kiser, died at 8 o'clock Friday evening at her home on
Kiser Hill in East Mead township. Mrs. Kiser was born December 5, 1845, and had lived practically her entire life in the community. She was well known and had a large circle of friends. Mrs. Kiser was a member of the Pine Grove M.E. Church. Surviving are a son, William, at home; also three sisters, Mrs. Jacob Burnette, Mrs. William Schultz of Meadville, and Mrs. Fannie Foreman, of Hayfield township. The remains are at Byham's funeral home where friends may call and from which place services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Interment will be made in the Kiser Hill Cemetery.
