"The funeral service for Solomon Charles Edwards, who died Monday morning in St Cloud, Fla, will be held at 2 pm Saturday at the E A Peterson funeral home. Rev Paul Bauer, pastor of the Corry Presbyterian Church, and a nephew of Mr Edwards, will officiate, and interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The time when the body will arrive here will be announced. Mr Edwards was born in Titusville on Oct 4, 1889, a son of Emory A and Helen M Tobias Edwards. He married Beda Johnson of Titusville and the couple lived here until they moved to Florida 20 years ago. He was a veteran of World War I. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs Jacob Schneider of Titusville and Mrs Alta Bauer of Corry; a brother, Bert Edwards of Titusville; his step-mother, Mrs E A Edwards of St Petersburg, Fla; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great nieces and nephews."
