Isaac Berlin was born in 1745.  He married Marie Catherine Cost.

Isaac Berlin enlisted, 1776, in the Pennsylvania Continental line; re-enlisted in 1782 and served to the end of the war under Capts. John Bush and John Craig and Colonels Richard Butler and Stephen Moyer; was engaged in the battles of Long Island and Fort Washington. In 1818 applied for a pension in Crawford County, PA, where he died 16 Jul 1831. He is buried in Peiffertown Cemetery in Saegertown. His widow was allowed pension on her application, executed 1837.  

Isaac and Marie Catherine Cost Berlin’s daughter Rebecca Berlin married Michael Peiffer.
