Obituary

Ex-Editor, Aged 89, Passes Away. MEADVILLE, Jan. 13.—Colonel J. W. H. Reisinger, a former editor of the Evening Republican, died at his home, corner Park avenue and Linden street, about 12:30 Friday morning after an illness of about a week. Colonel Reisinger is survived by a son, Major Paul Reisinger of the Eighth Engineers, Fort Bliss, El Paso, Tex., who is on his way to Meadville in response to the message sent to him, and Mrs. William M. Compton, formerly Louise E. Reisinger, of New York city, who with her husband and two daughters, are now in Meadville. Colonel Reisinger was born Jan, 19, 1833, and was therefore about 80 years of ago at the time of his death. The funeral will be held from the home at 356 Linden street Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
