Peter McGarvie was born 12 Feb 1829 in Scotland.
He married Flora Bell 24 April 1852 in Lewiston, Niagra Co., NY. After the Civil War
they resided just outside of Titusville on Miller Farm Road in Cherrytree Twp. Venango Co., PA where they
raised 4 children. Their daughter Anna Bell McGarvie married Daniel Heisman brother to John Heisman of
Heisman Trophy fame.
Peter McGarvie died 18 Aug 1893 in Cherrytree Twp., Venango Co., PA, and is buried in
Section H, L2, Range 1 of Woodlawn Cemetery,
Titusville, Crawford Co., PA
