Wounded in action later part of May 1864.  Government spelling error - Harrison Kinney

Harrison Kimmy was born in 1846 in Mead Twp., Crawford, Pennsylvania, the son of Peter Kimmy and Mary Pike.  He died 7 July 1864 in    Chattanooga, TN and is buried there.

Harrison's father Peter was afflicted with poor health. Twenty years after Harrison died someone must have told Peter about pension for a dependant father of a son serving in the war, because that is about when Peter applied. According to a letter from a nurse in the hospital, Harrison suffered greatly but was a brave young man who loved to read his Testament and had faith in the Saviour.
