"Rev Jabez M (sic) [Jabez N] Croxall, 77, died at his home at 207 E Fairmont Ave, at 11 pm Monday, following a lingering illness. Born in Titusville, Pa, he was a son of Edward and Mary Anna Wass Croxall. His last pastorate was in West Middlesex, when he retired in 1952. He was a member of the Erie Annual Conference. Rev Croxall's wife, Wilhelmina Tischendorf Croxall, died in 1952 (sic) [1951]. He was also a member of the Kiwanis and the IOOF. Surviving are three daughters, Miss Minnie E Croxall, this city; Mrs Anne Marley, Jamestown, Pa; Mrs Inez Davis, with her husband in the US Army, Ludwigsburg, Germany; one brother, Dr C B Croxall, Zephyrhills, Fla; [and] four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday from the First Methodist Church, N Jefferson St at North, with Dr Arthur Colley, district supt, in charge. Private burial will be held in Titusville, Pa. Friends may call at the John R Hodge Funeral Home, Wallace Ave...The body will not be on view at the church."
