BUZZA, RICHARD ALFRED
Rev. Richard Alfred Buzza was actually born in Tremar Coombe, which is a small village northeast of St. Cleer that served as an industrial settlement for the mines in the area. "Tre" in Cornish means farm or homestead and "Coombe" is from old English "cumb," which means valley or deep hollow. Rev. Buzza came to the United States in October, 1868 at the age of 7.

Conference Relations: Licensed to Preach 1884; Admitted on Trial Methodist Episcopal Erie Conference 1885; Full Member 1887; Deacon 1887, Ninde; Elder 1889, Foss; Retired 1926. Deceased: February 20, 1930 in Meadville, PA. Buried in Greendale Cemetery in Meadville, PA.
