John Baker

 John Baker was born 23 April 1795 in Vermont. He served in the War of 1812 and came to Crawford County in 1820 and was a pioneer settler of Townville.

  He served during War of 1812 from August 21,1812 thru April 9, 1813.

  John Baker was the father of nine sons and one daughter: Leonard Baker b.19 Feb 1823 Clement's Corners
