 Ralph E. Smock, assistant manager of the Prudential Life Insurance Company of
America, was born in Guy Mills on April 5, 1906. He is the son of Curtis and Iva Cutshall
Smock.
He was graduated from Meadville High School and Meadville Commercial College. After 10 years in the automobile business he became an agent for the Prudential in 1932 and was advanced to his present position in 1934. Mr. Smock married Nellie Rodgers. They have two sons, Richard and Rodger. Mr. Smock is a member of the First Methodist Episcopal Church, the Masonic order, the Elks, and is 2nd lieutenant of the Taylor Home Company.
