Richard E. GLENN, 76, of 1124 Miffin St., Huntingdon, died at 7:25 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, at Huntingdon Manor, Warm Springs Avenue, Huntingdon.
Born Dec. 7, 1925, in Corsica, he was a son of the late Elmer N. and Anna L. (Holden) Glenn. He was twice married; first, to Ermina Wilkinson who preceded him in death and then to Velma (Shirokey) Casner Oct. 16, 1988. She survives at their home.
Mr. Glenn was a member of Madera Presbyterian Church, Madera. He was a life member of Madera Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of Frank P. Hommon Post 24 American Legion, Huntingdon. A graduate of Corsica High School, Corsica, he was a United States Army veteran stationed in Germany during World War II. He was a heavy equipment operator in coal strip mines in the C1earfield area for 15 years, then worked in the construction field in various parts of Pennsylvania for 30 years, retiring in 1987.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am. Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Robert E. Peters Funeral Home, Huntingdon, with the Revs. Harold Williams and Thomas Klein officiating.
