BRISBIN - James F. Bowman, 52, Brisbin died yesterday, Feb. 19, at 10:18 p.m. at the Veterans Hospital, Altoona.
He was born in Osceola Mills, June 17, 1924, a son of Cornelius and Phoebe (McDonald) Bowman. He was a veteran of World War II and a former coal miner.
He is survived by four brothers and sisters: Mrs. Daniel (Mabel) Longstreth of Elmora; Mrs. Mary Mock of Altoona; Cornelius of Osceola Mills R.D. and Mrs. Velma Haywood of Brisbin.
Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held tomorrow, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m. from the Shoff Funeral Home in Madera. The Rev. James Grove will officiate and interment will be in the Alexander Cemetery, Madera.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
