EL PASO, Tex. - Funeral serives for Fred H. Leach, 62, who died July 11 in Fort Bayard Veterans Hospital, Fort Bayard, N.M., were held from the Harding Ort Funeral Home here Saturday morning.
Mr. Leach was born Dec. 3, 1897 at Curwensville, a son of the late Irvin and Olive (Kelly) Leach. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Joshua E. Sipes American Legion Post No. 505 of Curwensville.
He is survived by his wife, Elda (Shearer) Leach, three daughters, Mrs. William (Doris) Stedcke of Andover, Ohio, Mrs. John (Janice) Weir of Canutillo, Tex., and Mrs. Fred (Beatrice) Resides of Springfield, Mass.; a son, T-Sgt Roger I. Leach of Laon Air Force Base, France; one brother, two sisters and several grandchildren. Two daughters preceded him in death.
Cremation rites were conducted at Albuquerque, N.M., and the remains are being sent to the Oak Hill Cemetery at Curwensville for burial.
