Wilbur C. Hubler, 71, of 521 Martin St., Clearfield, died at the Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, at 11 a.m. yesterday following a short illness.
Born in Graham Township June 8, 1896, he was a son of the late Franklin and Bertha (Bumbarger) Hubler.
A veteran of World War I, Mr. Hubler served with the Motor Supply Unit of the Fifth Division in France. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mr. Hubler is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearle Hoover Hubler of Clearfield; four brothers, Ovis and Boyd, both of Morrisdale R. D.; Milford of Clearfield; and Karl, Buffalo, N.Y.; and two sisters Mrs Mae Coulter of Morrisdale and Mrs. Patrick Hurley of Clearfield.
Funeral services will be from the Leavy Funeral Home Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Clarence Sloss officiating. Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 pm., Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until time of services Monday.
