Frank E. Beers, 87, of Niagara Falls, N.Y., formerly of Coalport R. D., died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, in Niagara Falls. Born April 9, 1893 in Lyleville, Coalport R. D., he was the son of Valentine and Molly (Horton) Beers. He was married to the former Grace Baum, who died in 1961. Mr. Beers was also preceded in death by his parents and a son Herman. He is survivied by a son Roy of Gibraltor, Mich., four daughters, Mrs. Bessie Sperry of Merrimac, N.H.; Mrs. Beatrice Snapp of Austin, Texas, and Mrs. Verna Keith and Mrs. Vada I. Frye both of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; 25 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Stewart and a sister Mrs. Adda Lightner, both of Blandburg, and sisters Mrs. Lizzie Glass of Lyleville and Mrs. Sara Wilson of Lewistown. Mr. Beers was an Army veteran of World War I.
