"SUICIDE IN THE FIFTH - A Clearfield Soldier Becomes Despondent and Cut His Throat on Saturday, Dying Yesterday"
"Chickamauga National Park, Ga., Aug. 22 - Private Charles Anderson of Clearfield, of company L, during a despondent spell, cut his throat on Saturday and died yesterday. He was buried last night National cemetery."
