PACKER
or PACKARD, Lucinda (1844) PA
Trying to find a Lucinda or Lucy Packer born 1844 PA. She married
John/James Phillips probably in PA abt 1860. I only know of 1
son, James Phillips born 3 Mar 1864 in McKeesport Allegheny
County, PA. Family legend says she was disowned by her wealthy
family for remarrying to an ABRAHAM BATH in Fulton Co IL in April
1867, when she took James with her. She had a child with him in
June of 1867. This may be why. I have researched the ASA PACKER
family but can't seem to find a Lucy without a documented husband
in that line. Have also checked many PA 1850/60 census but only
found a Samuel Packer with daughter Lucy born 1844 that moved to
MI abt 1850's. (Not my Lucy). Don't know if James' father, John
died in the Civil War or what. Will share much info on desc. of
James Philips/Anna Miller Williams (who spoke Welsh).
