In the name of God Amen, I William Haag of the township of Upper Bern County of Berks and State of Pa, Being sick and weak in Body, But of sound mind, memory and understanding, But considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof, do therefore make and declare this my last will and testament in manner following- Item, I hereby appoint my son William Haag, Percival Haag and William Heister my son in law Executors of this my last will and testament.
It is my will and I do order that all my just debts and funeral Expenses be paid by my Executors as soon as convenient after my decease.
Item, It is my will and I do order that of all my Estate it has pleased God to intrust me with either Real or personal the same shall be sold by my executors within two years after my decease at pubic sale to the Highest Bidders, And of all moneys arising there from the same shall be divided amongst my seven children share and share alike.
Item, It is my will that of the cash in my Possession (immediately after my decease) the same shall be divided amongst my seven children share and share alike as soon as letters Testamentary have Been granted to my Executors Before named.
Item, It is my will and I do order that within thirty days after my decease my Executors shall have an appraisement taken according to Law of all my Personal Estate of whatever kind or nature the same may be and a copy filed in the Registers office of the proper county as a record for reference until a sale as aforesaid be made.
Item, It is my will and I do so order that my housekeeper, Catharine Auman, shall have the Privilege of Remaining at my residence two months after my decease (if she so chooses) and at any Rate whether she stays or leaves she shall Receive the same compensation as she did while I was living for the aforesaid two months.
In witness whereof I have unto made my mark in the presence of the Witnesses who have hereunto subscribed their names at my Request Declaring unto them that this is my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me heretofore made this 19th day of October AD 1867.
