To the Honorable the Judges of the Orphans Court for the County of Berks.
The petition of Rebecca Moll of the County of Berks respectfully represents that she is the widow of Peter Moll dec'd and the mother of William Moll, Thomas Moll, Stephen Moll, John Moll and Jeremiah Moll minor children of the said Peter Moll late of the said County dec'd ; that one Jacob Lenhart was on the 6th day of August A.D. 1858 duly appointed by the orphans Court of Berks County Guardian of the said William, Thomas, Stephen, John & Jeremiah Moll minor children as aforesaid; that the said Jacob Lenhart took upon himself the duties pertaining to his appointment as guardian aforesaid. Yet never the less the said Jacob Lenhart has entirely neglected his duties as guardian, he has not attended to either clothing or educating his said wards nor yet did he care for the maintenance of his said wards. Your petitioner has always attended to clothing, schooling & boarding the said wards as well as to procuring them proper places for service. Your petitioner therefore prays for a citation against the said Jacob Lenhart requiring him to show just cause if any he has why he should not be discharged as guardian aforesaid.
