I Peter Adam of the Township of Maidencreek in the County of Berks and State of Pennsylvania; do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say:
First. I give devise and bequeath unto my dear wife Elizabeth Adam, during her natural life time, my house and lot of ground attached to it, situate in the Village of Molltown and the Township of Maidencreek, Berks County, and adjoining land of Isaac Reeser, and other lands of said testator, And I also give and bequeath to my dear wife out if my personal property to the value of Four Hundred Dollars worth out of such article or articles as she may ???me to except, in place of her three hundred dollar law, and I further give the right to my dear wife during her natural life time, the use at the pump on the property known as Molltown Tavern & ???? with a free passage to and from:
Second. And the house and lot bequeath to my dear wife during her lifetime. I give devise and bequeath the same unto my children in equal shares or their legal representatives their heirs and assigns.
Third. And to the ????????? estate real and personal, not herein devised and bequeathed to my wife, I give devise and bequeath the same to be equally divided amongst all my children then living at the time of my death, or their legal representatives as their parents would be entitled to under the intestate laws to their heirs and assigns:
And lastly I appoint my son Lewis M. Adam, and my son in law Daniel Schmeck, Executors of this my Last Will and Testament and declaring this and this only to be my Last Will and Testament.
In witness where of, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Sixth day of October A.D. One thousand eight hundred and eighty three.

I Peter Adam the within named testator, do hereby make and publish this codical. To be added to my last will and testament, bearing date the Sixth day of October A.D. 1883 in the manner following to wit.
Whereas in my said Will, I have appointed, my son Lewis M. Adam and my son in law Daniel Schmeck, to be my Executors. I do hereby disclose that my Will is that my other three son in laws J.J.R. Smith, James Baucher and Andrew Gehart, shall also be my Executors, to my will.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this Sixth day of May in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Five:

On the 15th day of March A.D. 1890 Before me personally appeared John S. Fox and William Gauker, the subscribing witnesses to the forgoing will and testament and codicil, who being duly sworn according to law did depose and say that they were present and did see and hear Peter Adam testator sign, seal, publish and declare the forgoing instrument of writing as and for his last will and testament and codicil that at the time so doing he was in sound mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief.
