Last Will and Testament of Mary (nee Seidel) Moll

Shoemakersville 1890

I Mary Moll widow of David F Moll of the village of Shoemakersville in the County of Berks and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me of any time heretofore made.

As to such estate as it hath pleased God to entrust me with, I dispose of the same as follows viz.

Item I give and bequeath to my son John B Moll the good Bed Set with springs and all bed clothing belonging to the same. Also our white quilt, Eutin carpet in the hall, our Couser closet, our extension table, our Porter Mirror, our half dozen cain scot chairs with small rocker, and our eight day clock.

2nd I give and bequeath to Mamie, John B Moll's wife the marble stand.

3rd I give and bequeath to my son Henry B Moll bureau, our kitchen closet, our wood chest and parlor stove and pipe belonging to the same. our lounger, our six legged table and half dozen cain scot chairs and one rocker, chinchilla carpet and forty dollars in cash.

4th I give and bequeath to my son Alfred B Moll the carpet in the sitting room viz the engrain carpet.

5th I give and bequeath to my daughter Emma the white bouquet and the Family Bible.

6th I give and bequeath to my daughter Louisa the No. 2 bouquet.

7th I give and bequeath to Sallie wife of my son Henry B Moll the No. 3 bouquet.

8th I give and bequeath to Elmeda Ritter the sewing machine and mirror in the sewing room.

9th I give and bequeath to Mamie Lesher the silver castor and half dozen silver spoons.

10th I give and bequeath to Elmer Moll son of Alfred B Moll the large picture (dog).

11th I give and bequeath to Ephriam Moll son of Henry B Moll the picture representing girl and Sheep.

12th The balance of my house hold goods not given away. The Executors herinafter named shall divide equally among my 5 children in a mutual way without making public sale of the same. My clothing shall be divided equally among my two daughters viz Emma and Louisa share and share alike.

Lastly I appoint my two sons John B Moll and Henry B Moll to be the Executors of this my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I Mary Moll the testator, have to this my will written on one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this thirteenth of July one thousand eight hundred and eighty nine.

Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Mary Moll as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names at her request as witnesses thereto in the presence of the said testator and of each other.

On the 29th day of Dec. AD 1890, Before me personally appeared A S Seidel and N K Fisher the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing will who being duly qualified according to law did ????? and say that they were present and did see and hear Mary Moll, testatrix sign seal publish and declare the foregoing instrument ????ing as and for her last will and testament that at the time of so doing she was of sound mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief.

Will of Mary Moll dec'd

Proved Dec 29 AD 1890 same day Letters testamentary granted with Jon B Mull and Henry B Mull the executors named in the will the having first been duly qualified thereunto Testatrix died Dec 22 1890.
